I always begin the Personal Branding Photography process in the same way. I research…I want to get to know the brand and people or person behind it first before I even think about picking up my camera. The client wanted me to create a set of images that would express more of her personality rather than shooting a set of traditional headshots, which I’d previously shot of her for use on LinkedIn. My client’s customer base is fairly varied but she particularly enjoys working with outdoor activity brands. Both my client & are lucky enough to live on the South Coast, so finding the perfect outdoor location for the shoot wasn’t a problem. My aim was to match the choice of location to the personality and character of my client resulting in more impactful photos that would appeal to the activity brands she enjoys working with.
